The Maritimer Stake Set for Saint John

Saint John, NB - The 14th edition of the Maritimer Stake, a
Standardbred Canada co-sponsored event, is slated for EPR Raceway Saint John New Brunswick August 30, 2008.
Declarations are due on Monday August 25, 2008. The event purse is expected to be over $32,000. The Port City winds up its Exhibition week racing program next Saturday. Horseman from all over Atlantic Canada, have made “The Maritimer” one of their important stops on their three year old fillies racing calendar. The purse is expected to be over $32,000.
