KG Affair Wins Summerside Feature

Summerside, PE – KG Affair, under the command of Terry Gallant, won the Wednesday night feature at the Summerside Raceway in gate to wire fashion.
Fred Lamont, Calgary, Alberta, owns the winning pacer who was charted in 1:57.3. Woodmere Quickpeek, who enjoyed the pocket trip, finished second for driver Marc Campbell while Lakota Hall, who tracked third throughout the mile held on to complete the triactor for driver Walter Cheverie who co-owns with John Thompson, Charlottetown.
Gallant and Earl Smith recorded driving doubles on the program.
Racing returns to the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre Thursday and Saturday night at 7pm. The action continues on Sunday. Post time is 1pm.
