Big Oster Draws Rail in Summerside Feature

Summerside, PE - Big Oster, owned by Vernon Paugh, Ellerslie, PE, has drawn the coveted rail in the Wednesday night feature at the Summerside Raceway. Post time is 7pm.
The three-year-old colt by Western Success won his last start in an Atlantic Sires Stakes event for driver Earl Smith. But trainer Elton Millar will use Governor’s Plate winning driver Terry Gallant in the match-up against some pretty heavy hitters. Newcomer Smart Barney, who has been charted in 1:57 for new owner Walter Simmonds, Summerside and trainer Wade Sorrie. Sorrie will drive from post 5 with another morning line favorite, Beautys Spur and Dr. Ian Moore, getting post 6.
The field also includes Littleorphan Eddie with Eddie Strongman, BJ Cruiser for Walter Cheverie and Nag with Keith Campbell of Tyne Valley.
