Gold Cup Winner Returns to Charlottetown

Summerside, PE – The official draw has been made and the field is set for the Erwin Andrew Memorial Wednesday at the Summerside Raceway. The series, presented by Meridian Farms and Standardbred Canada, will compete for a rich purse of $15,734. Post time for the evening card is 7pm.

  Shadow Play won The Little Brown Jug in a world record two-heat victory Thursday afternoon at Delaware. Ohio, drawing off on the field to win by opens lengths in the $264,589 final despite racing with a minor foot separation that nearly resulted in the colt being scratched.
