Summerside, PE – Tobins Star, under the command of driver Brian MacPhee, won the Wednesday night feature race in a torrid 1:55.2 at Red Shores Summerside. The Philip Doucette trainee burst off the wings to deliver a gate to wire impressive victory over Courtside and Raging Leru. It was MacPhee’s third win on the program. Doucette co-owns the five-year-old gelding with Tom Lynch of Summeriside.

Summerside, PE – LongN Winding Road, a three-year-old Mach Three colt, shipped in from N.S. and took the major share of the purse after winning the feature race Wednesday night at Red Shores at Summerside. Phil Pinkney, who posted his second winner on the night, did the driving for the KPD Standardbreds ownership group of Onslow, N.S. turning back Porthill Alf while Tobins Star finished third. The time of the mile was 1:58.
